Welcome to 2010!

While Derek puts the finishing touches on paintings for a brand new original picture book, he's looking forward to a busy 2010. Derek's first book this year, Hot Rod Hamster (written by Newbery Honor author Cynthia Lord) is being published by Scholastic Press. You can already read reviews, print a Hot Rod Hamster activity sheet, and if you head over to Cynthia Lord's website, you can even download a Teacher's Guide!

Cuaquito, the spanish language edition of Little Quack is being published by Little Simon in a classic board book edition (the official pub date is January 27th).

And in June, there will be two new Little Quack books published in the very popular "Super Chubby" edition. Little Quack's Opposites and Little Quack's ABC's are fun, new additions to the series and they're just the right size for Little Quack's smallest fans.
